NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

NATIONAL EXECUTIVE MEETINGS ARE HELD FEBRUARY,JUNE AND OCTOBER

It is with great sadness that we inform members of the deaths of two of our most loved and respected members

After along battle with cancer Eileen Lamb died during the first week of January 2008. Eileen represented the Association of Catholic Nurses internationally  as European and then  International President of CICIAMS and was also a longstanding Association of Catholic Nurses /Catholic Nurses Guild National Executive Committee member serving as National President of the Association 1979-1982. She received the Papal Award, Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice for her service to the Catholic Church.  Our prayers at this time are with her husband and family in Tyne and Wear .

Marie Hession died in 2007. Marie possessed both a great strength of character and a sense of humour  Marie was most   well known for her years as matron at Birmingham Womens Hospital and as founder member and active fundraiser to St Marys Hospice Birmingham .
