The Association of Catholic Nurses (formerly Catholic Nurses Guild) founded 1897 is open to all Catholic nurses. Members come from a range of nursing backgrounds including practising and retired nurses , health visitors, midwives ,nurse managers and directors , lecturers, students and health care assistants.The Association is a member of the Bishops' Conference Healthcare Reference Group England and Wales and CICIAMS the International Association of Catholic Nurses and Medico-Social (Healthcare) Assistants
